25 months & 25 weeks

I got tired of seeing Jim Carrey on my blog in a bikini too! Here is the room that Sean has been working on. He had to replace installation (sp?), sheetrock, texture, paint etc. Here is where we started. There is an after picture somewhere and I'll update an after, after picture when all the furniture is in. Maggie and Lil' Sean will be sharing this room!!!! Well... that's the plan.

Here's me at 25 weeks but I'm now almost 28 weeks. 3 more months to go!!!!!!!

Here's the after picture with Sean flexing. You can't see but he also put in recessed lighting too.

Maggie learned how to pedal her trike about a month ago. She loves to ride down the street and look at the "park" that is all gone. Lot's of construction going on. So.... Maggie heard her dad asking our niece about someone being in the bathroom and "Are they taking a dump?" (exact words) About 20 minutes later Maggie asked where somebody was and I told her they were in the bathroom and will be right out. She looks right about me, very serious, and says "Are they taking a dump?" I thought I would pee my pants laughing.

big girl undies

My mom and dad came over and had Maggie try on her big girl undies. She sat on the potty twice and went pee the 2nd time. We were so happy. Of course, I've been too lazy to continue any training but I just bought some m&m's so we'll see.

Look! Pigtails.... she finally let me put them in! But Sean and I think she looks like Vera De Milo (the character Jim Carrey plays on In living color). I'll try and find a picture and attach it.

Bossy!

I asked Maggie to pick up her ladybugs yesterday and she told me to do it. I told her to go and get the box and I will help her clean up. Her exact words, "Mommy, your too bossy"! Hee hee!
This morning she was looking at pictures from X-mas very quietly and than she kept looking over at me with the saddest face. Tears were welling up in her eyes. I finally asked "What's wrong?" She wouldn't answer but it was so sad. I looked at the picture and it was of her and Santa. I wish I got a picture!

Arizona

We had so much fun in Arizona visiting Nana. Maggie did great on the plane. Sean decided he would like to put stress on me by almost bringing his knife through security, forgetting the camera, dropping his boarding pass and then going to get a pretzel and use the bathroom as were supposed to be boarding. This led to me losing it and then us not sitting by each other until a nice man decided to switch. Whewwwww.... I almost passed out.... Then there was about 15 minutes of turbulence where I turned green and almost puked. Maggie said "No like the bump, bump". But we made it and here is Maggie dancing to country music at this fun little outdoor BBQ place. She was even sitting on the steps when the singer came and sat down next to her while he was singing. We couldn't get the camera out fast enough to take the pic but it was super cute. My little groupie!!!!

Yep! We are the only people on the train at the zoo because it was 8000 degrees at 2:00 p.m. No, it was probably 104... but by the looks of all of us you can tell that we were only doing this cause Maggie really wanted to go on. This day we went to the coolest zoo where all the animals were showing off for us and then there is also an aquarium. Nana always takes us to the best places!

The train guy took us on a cool tour through some of the animal habitats. He got an ostrich feather for Maggie and we rescued this little baby duck who was stranded in a pond. He couldn't move his little legs.

Here is Maggie with Nana's little doggie Daisy but she loved to call Addy cause her Auntie has the same dog. She chased her around and carried her everywhere. I also told Maggie to open her eyes in the picture and this is what I got!!!

Side note: Yesterday, I was getting her ready for bed and she kept trying to stand up and look out the window. I said, "Nobody is out there" and she kept fighting me and would just stand there looking out the window and she said "I want to see Nobody". Too funny! Makes sense to me.

2 already?

I can't believe my baby is two already! I feel so blessed that she is happy, healthy, smart and cute. She also has her dad's sense of humor. My mom, Maggie and me were at Nordstrom the other day and she was yelling out "Jordan? Jordan?"

Her new favorite thing is when her dad or I tell her not to touch something she gives us a little look and then slowly and lightly touches it with her finger. We were trying so hard not to laugh at the table when she did that. What do you say?

Flashback when Maggie came home from the hospital two years ago. I like Sean's double chin.

There's never any pics of Maggie and I together and we spend majority of our time alone. She can sit through a whole book now. She really enjoys them.

We also got made fun of because we spent the day cleaning and just hanging out at home. I don't know what we were thinking when we got dressed but our outfits were pretty terrible!

Getting ready for my little brother!

Whoooo! Hooooo! I've accomplished TV watching. We've been in TV training the last couple months. She now watches Baby Einstein (the same two episodes) every morning. I get to make breakfast, drink coffee, and pray every morning. I forgot what it was like to have a peaceful morning!

Maggies been finding my hair everywhere. In the bathtub, in her food (yum), on her toys, blankets.... etc. I thought when you were pregnant you get a thick, full set of hair. Oh well. Sean and I will be bald together!

We stole baby Gavin for a little bit the other day. It was great seeing Maggie care for him. She brushed his hair and pushed him in the swing. He loved it. She also wanted to change his diaper, give him a bottle, hold him, rock him and read him a book. I had to draw the line somewhere! But, there was no jealousy which was nice!

The Band and the Beach

Here is my little helper! She already has a couple chores. She empties out the silverware from the dishwasher and dries some dishes after I wash them. Having kids is awesome! Can't wait till she can cook!

We had Doug, Kelly & Gabe over for dinner. Sean, Gabe & Maggie had band practice. It was the worse noise I'd ever heard. The harmonica has been a hit around here!

Half Moon Bay was really hot a couple weeks ago. We tried taking her to Santa Cruz last year but it was unsuccessful with her unsteady steps and lots of falling in the dirty sand face first. This year was much better. She loves making sand castles with daddy. The water was freezing but that didn't stop her from going in.
