Eating, Sleeping & Finger Painting
Here is Maggie's new way of sleeping. One leg has to be up on the crib. She just started this about a month ago. She used to just stick her butt up in the air but this is funnier. She just had her 15 month appt today and she got her shots. She cried for a second but was fine after she played with her sticker. The Doc is so great. She remembers everyone that has come to her appts with me (Daddy, Grandma, Nana, Uncle Joe, and Auntie Erika). I always need reinforcement at these appointments.Maggie's head is in the 95% (she has a lot of brain
in there) :) her weight is 60% and her height is 73%. I guess that's good! Can you imagine if they had those for adults. Mine would be 95% for my giant head, -50% for height and 90% for weight).... Ha!!!!
Maggie loves spaghetti! Erin and Carrie were over the other day laughing at Maggie eating it. She is just like her parents. We all just love food at this house. I think she has spaghetti and brocolli all over her hair and face.
Now that her and Bailey are best friends she's been sneaking food on the side (she yells, "Bawey, Bawey, Bawey") I wish I had a dog as a kid cause we used to pretend to cough our squash in our napkin. I had to use a lot of napkins to get rid of it all. A dog is so much easier.

Here is Maggie's 1st finger painting experience. I was too scared to do it on my own so Kelly (my fellow K partner) set up it all up for Gabe and Maggie). They both had such a great time. Next time is playdough!!!!
Poor Gabriel and Maggie have to deal with Mrs. Garcia and Mrs. Poole as their mom's.

Daddy and me!

Daddy's little girl sounds about right at our house. Sean wanted a girl so bad (he even used to sing the "Maggie May" song by Rod Stewart when she was in my tummy). He was 100% sure it was a girl. He would like all girls but I want boys. Maggie knows how to play soccer already so maybe I'll get my tomboy after all. Maggie and Daddy like to wrestle on the couch and bed, dance together, read together and cuddle every morning. Sean is usually getting ready to go to bed when Maggie is getting up. Lately they've been cuddling in the A.M. but now when we shut the door to let him sleep she cries and says, "Daddy, dadddddyyyyy, ddddddaaaadddddyyyy!" She even lets out some tears. We were even at the mall one day and she kept yelling out, "Daddy? Daddy?"

The picture of Maggie on his shoulders was her first time at the zoo. She loves to dig in Sean's ears when she's on his shoulders! Who knows what she finds in there!
Somebody needs to pick their wedgie in that b/w pic!

This is the most recent moment of cuddle time with daddy. This is rare cause she is not a cuddler. She is a wiggle worm. Just wanted to give Sean the credit her deserves for being such a great dad! My favorite moments are watching them together!
Sorry this was so sentimental... next time I'll go back to being somewhat funny!

15 1/2 month Deputy Dolly Parton

Maggie is 15 1/2 months so I decided to take some pictures before church. I thought they came out pretty good for someone who gets frustrated with all electronic devices! This face is her usual serious one. On Sundays, the St. Raymond church bells ring about 6 times during the day. At this moment, the bells are ringing and Maggie's serious face comes on! It reminds me of Sean too!
I just couldn't help myself with this one. She loves having her balls in her shirt (Wow that doesn't
sound right at all). But, I had to take a picture
of Dolly Parton and I couldn't stop laughing.
My poor child! I love this picture of her handing
me a flower too! This was right after she stuck
one in her mouth and ate it!

Here is Deputy "mini me" Sean! She loves to put on his hat. Can you believe they have to wear those to the Raider's games? She can tell what's mine and Sean's too.... cause she'll grab my running shoes and say "mommy, mommy" and Sean's hat and go "daddy, daddy". I'll just call her Maggie Einstein! Peace out!

Lot's of Summer Fun!
Maggie and I built sand castles in Lake Tahoe. Although, Sean just laughed at me cause I really forgot how much water and sand you needed to make it stick together. Childhood was a long time ago, I guess! Or I'm just dumb! Either way I practiced and got the hang of it. Maggie loved to knock them over!
Thank goodness for the High Family. Keep growing those boys! Ha! Now that baby boy # 3 is coming, Sean said he's building an electric fence when they turn 13! We have so much fun playing with Daniel and Vincent... They all get along so well and Becky and I can have some adult time! Yay! Is Maggie pregnant?
Maggie loved Lake Tahoe! We used to go there as kids so it was fun to take Maggie up there for her first time playing in the sand. She has no fear of the water. We did find out at the zoo that she is scared of the Merry Go Round.... They had to stop the ride for us to get off. Oh well! Maybe next year!
We spent a lot of time with the McMann's this summer. Tara and I were running 5 days a week so Joe and Sean would switch off babysitting. Maggie loved playing with Kylie and Kenzie. We miss them already. Were hoping they move here by next year!
Maggie and Gabriel love having playdates. Here they are in their pj's watching "Melmo" in the morning. They also kissed a few times this day too! We love having Gabe the Babe over. Here is Maggie at her cousin, Alyssa's, soccer game. She is sitting with her doggy cuz Addie! She loves to be outside all the time. Her new word is "side, side, side, side, side". She can officially open the back door and get outside. Usually her next word is "swing, swing, swing, swing" or "ride, ride, ride, ride" (in the wagon). And yes.... she says them 8 million times in a row. It's cute though! Well... for some reason the picture just decided to go away. If you know my personality... then you will guess that I really wanted to just throw the whole computer on the ground and stomp on it and say a few trillion swear words. I took some deep breaths... and I'm good now!!!!
We were in Lake Tahoe
and Maggie got out of the hotel room and went streaking down the hallway. Pretty funny! Reminds me of my college days
