limes on steroids?

This is an exact picture of when I tell something to Seanie and he responds with "Huh?" He loves saying that now. He's also into any type of animal right now (dinosaurs, horsies, ducks, cows, zebras) I listed them just in case you didn't know what animals were. :) I don't know why I just listed them actually. I think I've been hanging out with kids too much! Next blog I'll list the animal sounds for you. Then you'll know I've lost it!

Sean is very proud of his lime tree which is producing tons of regular looking limes but for some reason our "orange" tree is producing limes on steroids. So wierd! The kids have been playing with them. We opened one up and it's just white inside with a couple seeds. Oh and the kids ate dinner outside (just in case you get a close up of their pasta faces).

.

Uncle Josh has been coming over every Sunday morning after his weekly trip to Panera and Starbucks. He always comes over around 10:15 and we leave for church at 10:30. So the routine is that he gives the kids his strawberry scone or this week his smoothie. And I try to convince him to come to church with us. His excuse this time was that he didn't have the right clothes. But usually he's off to jiujitsu or yoga!

Thanks Uncle Josh! Oh, and nice sweaty armpits! We definitly are related!

Vincent came over for dinner the other night and it was so fun having him. I took Seanie's shirt off because we were having pasta so Maggie asked if she could take her's off. I said "yes" but then realized she had a dress on so she was just in her underwear. Then Vincent asked if he could be in his underwear too so he took off his shoes, socks, shirt & shorts. After dinner they ran about 800 laps around the yard in their undies.

Attack of the killer leaf

1st day of preschool without parents... Kelly and I were more excited than the kids. I watched Maggie washing her hands by herself and then going to sit right next to the teacher (of course) and that was it. I got a little teary but then left so happy.

This kid has so many emotions and his face tells them all. He is so expressive so I thought I would do the many faces of "Seanie" "Normie" Poole Jr.

He goes from this face here to.........

this one!!!!! Hilarious! I wish I had one of when he gets scared of something cause he puts both hands on his cheeks and screams... which brings me to "Attack of the Killer Leaf"
We went for a walk down our street and it was a windy evening! All of the sudden I saw this leaf blowing in the wind heading right for us. Maggie and I moved out of the way but Seanie got attacked on his belly by this big, green, leaf. He screamed and yelled, "No, Seanie, Leaf". But it didn't listen. It came back a second time and went for his leg. This sent me into laughter and him into... all I can describe is a "womanly scream" with his two hands on his face (like Macauley Culkin in Home Alone). He had a week of not going near a leaf and being so scared he sits on my lap to today where he smashes them with his feet as if he is killing the predator! The End ...

Uncle Pat and Aunt Margie came to visit for 3 weeks but I didn't take any pictures... Just this one! I'm so mad! They have to get back home to Nebraska cause their little granddaughter is arriving soon!!!! Yay, Moe! Tell Mikie to give me updates during the labor and keep me posted! :)

preschool & playtime

1st day of preschool where you meet your teacher and find your nametag. Maggie loved it and loved the kitchen area. What an exciting day. Her first day by herself is this week!!!!

Maggie got to be in charge of showing the other kids where the bathroom was. This school is very sanitary and the kids have to wash their hands before they sit down. :)

Maggie and Gabe: We were pregnant and teaching together, then we taught them at home for their 1st year of preschool and now their off by themselves... How exciting!

Maggie couldn't stop smiling and looking at all the other kids. What a great start! I was so embarassed by Sean's "moustache" and then his transition lenses. Are you 45 years old?

Yoga X!!!!!! Hilarious!

There were some long days this summer and Maggie and Seanie are finally playing together for short periods of time with no crying, hitting and tantrums. Maggie only lets him play with Prince Charming but not any other Barbie's. He's eating his head in this pic!

We also did shaving cream letters... Maggie practices writing her letters in the shaving cream.

The good thing about shaving cream is that it also cleans off your table after... Awesome!
