lots of poo!

We are going to miss Nana! She flew in from Arizona and helped us for a couple weeks. We had dinners, laundry was done and our house was spotless. Not anymore! After one day our house looks like a tornado hit it. Come back Nana!

I would love to know if any moms of newborns have every experienced this. My mom-in-law was changing his diaper and went to put the new one on when projectial poo came flying out all over the wall! Do you see me cleaning it? Do you see where baby Sean is? That's how far away he was when the poo came flying out. He is definitly fitting in with our family already

Introducing....

Sean Norman Poole Jr. born on
October 1st at 12:42 p.m.
8 lbs. 1 oz. 20 in. long
and came out peeing, pooping, and screaming!
These pictures are out of order but oh well...
Maggie was super excited to meet her brother. First family picture of the 4 of us!

This is the permanent smile that she had whenever she came and visited. Big Sean was sitting on the chair with little Sean and Maggie was on the bed with me. She slowly stuck her butt out until she was sitting next to her brother. She could care less about her new toy and cried when she had to leave. Every time I talked to her on the phone she asked if she could come and see her baby brother.

Here is the healthy baby boy who is doing great. He lost weight but we can now take him home today.

Here is the day I had little Normie poo and I'm pretty sure he was ready to come out!!!!!

5 days to go

Here I am on September 20th and looking huge. This month has been going by a little slow but keeping myself busy has made it a little easier. Oct. 1st is my scheduled c-section which means 5 more days to go!!!!! No more heartburn, throwing up, peeing my pants (well... that still might be a prob), and just being uncomfortable (especially by my belly button).

My close friends and family through a little shower for me which was so nice. I love when we just get together and talk about old times. I love being so close to my friends and their mom's. We should get together more often just for the heck of it. Maggie loved helping me open her baby brother's presents. She has been talking about him for about 6 months now. I hope she's ready to actually meet him. My dad took her to Jamba Juice and she told some strangers that she would be changing his diapers. Too cute! Carrie made me the cutest diaper cake. I don't know how people have the patience to do those.

Family photos

Here is little grouchy pants as we tried to take some family pictures before little Sean gets here. She was a disaster. Her new routine is waking up about 4 times a night (wanting me to sing her a song, get her a kleenex, get daddy, and wake up to watch cartoons). She also likes to wake up at 6:30 and stand right in my face. We both haven't been getting too much sleep.

Thanks Becky for taking these pictures!!! I can't wait to frame them!!!!

Our neice Alyssa came and stayed with us for a few days. Sean and his friend decided to take all these girls to the zoo. Age ranging from 1 - 14!!!

Here's a mini BBQ we had at our house and this table comes in hand for times like these. Too cute.

Tahoe & big girl bed

Boy, did we need a break.... We decided to do a last minute vacation/trip to Lake Tahoe. In my head, I thought it would be relaxing but little did I know...... Maggie and I were up most of the first night because according to Maggie "Daddy scares me" because of his snoring. Every weird noise would wake her up and she is just too small for the crib. Sean slept on the couch and Mags and I stayed up in bed till about 3 a.m. She was up at 7 a.m. Then she split her lip open so we had a discussion about stitches and decided she would be fine. Last but not least she got bit by hornets at our friends house on the way home. Awwww.. kids are awesome!

Now for the good part!!!! She loved Lake Tahoe and loves to swim with her floaty and jump in a lot. She also loves the sand! It turned out to be fun after all. Her favorite part was going up the stairs to our room and hearing her "echo" voice.

This is the 5th or 6th night that she has slept in her big girl bed. A few cries at night and some scary peeking in our room early in the morning (like Chucky). Some funny things she's been saying...
MJ: Can I give Bailey a treat?
Mom: Why?
MJ: Because I just love you.
Mom: OK
MJ: Can I see that? (a watch)
Uncle Joe: Sure, what time is it?
MJ: 3:30
