LOOOOOONNNNGGGG Month!

Papa, Maggie and Baby Sean watching O'Reilly!

Maggie loves singing Happy Birthday! We have to sing it every day to Mommy, Maggie, Baby Sean and Bailey! Then we blow out candles and give each other "prizes". She sang Happy B-day to me again and Papa asked her how old I was and she said "ummm, 2 months!" Then we sang Happy B-day to Papa and he asked how old he was and she said, "Too many months!" True!

Maggie let me put pig tails in her hair and it looks like it's growing in a little more! She looks so grown up. She goes to pre-school once a week with Gabriel and she walks in with the most confidence I've ever seen in a 2 year old. She also helps the teacher put the toys away, clean up and pass out things!

This is what happens when I tell her to smile.

Sean worked 20 hours last Saturday night so he didn't come home on Valentine's Day till 3:00 p.m. He decided to stay up a little longer so we walked to Papa Murphy's and got a heart pizza. That's all we did for each other cause it's been a looooooonnnngggg month. We were all sick for 2 weeks, then we got better, and now the kids have been sick for another week. Baby Sean can't shake it and he's been up ALL night coughing and crying. AAARRRggghhhhh (not like a pirate but like a stressed out mom) Hee hee!

Here's my handsome boy who is almost sitting up by himself. We haven't figured out who he looks like yet. I think a good mixture! So far, his dad has given him the worst nicknames (Benjamin Button as a newborn) and now he thinks he looks like Sloth from the Goonies (especially from behind with the shape or misshape of his head and his big ears).

I have to say that being at home with the kids, cause their sick, has made me stop and truly appreciate them. I think sometimes we need to slow down on life (with 8 million activities and playdates, and go, go, go attitude). Just sitting down and playing games and just talking to Maggie has made me realize how fast she's growing up. Now is the time to invest in our kids!
Wow, I had a lot to say for only 3-4 hours of sleep a night in the last week!!!!

Texting!!!!!!!

Daddy: Who's cell phone is that?
Maggie: Mine
Daddy: Let me see.
(without looking at him, shows him her phone and continues to press the buttons)
Daddy: Hey, who are you calling?
Maggie: Nobody, I'm just texting!

Love Technology!

Carrie: Maggie, what are you going to be at my wedding?
Maggie: The flower girl!
Carrie: What's Gabe going to be?
Maggie: The dog! (AKA Ring "BEAR") At least she knew it was an animal of some kind!

Edward Scissorhands

Smiley boy! I think Erin's making him laugh in this picture! Probably trying to teach him to "fist pump" or tell people they have "beer guts"... you know classy things that Maggie likes to say now!

Um... can you say twins?

My little helper! Baby Sean turned 4 months on Monday and so it's rice cereal time! Thanks for helping Maggie!

I left for the store the other day and Maggie said, "Hey mom, who's watching all these kids?" (meaning her and Baby Sean) I said, "Daddy".

I'm playing soccer again and the kids came with me. We got in the car and Maggie said "Good job soccering Mommy!" Too cute!

Now on to Edward Scissorhands! Yes... this is from his right hand. He loves to scratch his right side for some reason and so now he is wearing socks to bed. Aren't I a great mom?

Roman and baby Sean trying to figure out what Gabriel and Maggie are doing! Look at their matching outfits!

X-mas

X-mas morning, Uncle Joe rang the doorbell and Maggie saw her blue bike! She is so excited to ride her bike with Daniel and Vincey!

This is my parent's house on X-mas morning. Lots of coffee and the Snuggly blankie that scares the heck out of Maggie. Whenever Joe stands up she runs from him. He looks like Merlin the wizard (but the white trash version).

This is the "grandkid" tree!
Were hoping that more additions come soon!

We celebrated X-mas eve on the 20th because Sean worked all that week! We stayed the night and had a blast. I think Maggie liked Nana's present!

Our yearly X-mas picture. I always have them do a silly one and serious one! I was just looking at a X-mas picture from 4 years ago. I can't believe how big the kids are getting.

Baby Carlos

Maggie and Daddy decorating the X-mas tree! The star is from Sean's gram and the red hearts remind me of my Grandma who gave them to my mom in the 80's! Their a little old school but we love the memories that they remind us of and the new ones we will make as a family! Maggie put all the hearts in one spot. Too cute!
I thought I would get better at posting pics next to the right caption but I've tried and tried and get too frustrated. So I've decided that Sean will teach the kids about computers and Geography and I'll teach them to read!

Another year, another bet in our house! Someone is always betting at our house so this year it's who can lose the most weight between Tony and Josh! That's why Joe is eating leftover pie in front of them while their just staring! We love food at our house so it's a challenge to lose weight. They weighed in at Thanksgiving and they weigh in on X-mas Eve so they don't have to miss out on the yummy treats.

Here is Baby Carlos! This is how we would get stuff done around the house cause he cried so much. He's way better now since he turned 2 months. My back feels way better now!

Funny

Poor Roman and Lil' Sean! They have no idea what kind of older brother and sister they have!

Two funny things before I forget:

Papa was reading Maggie a book that I've read about 3x to her!

He kept making up the words instead of reading them. She corrected him a few times and finally said... "your not doing it right Papa! I'll just read it by myself".

Maggie in the car with Daddy listening to "Flogging Molly" "Black Eyed Peas" & "Pink"

M: "Dad, dad turn the music off! I need to talk to you"!
D: "Ok"
M: "Can we go to Superfranks"?
D: "Yep! Do you have any money to go?"
M: "No, I don't have any money but I have energy"!

Smiles & X-mas lights

Sean went all out this year with X-mas lights! I'll try and put a pic up! Maggie loves it but has trouble not touching everything! We pulled up to the house at night when the lights were on and she screamed cause she was so excited! "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha (Kendra laugh from Girls Next Door) Look what Daddy did.... He blew up Santa on the motorcycle"

My little "handsome boy" is smiling! He's been smiling for a while but Becky finally caught a picture of him! Whenever I'd get the camera he would turn serious again! He is now sleeping through the night (just like Maggie at 2 months old). He's still in our room cause he talks from about 4:30 - 5:30 a.m. but then falls back asleep till 7 a.m. He's still fussy during the day and needs to be held a lot which makes it hard when someone yells "Wipe my booty mom". I've been using the baby bjorn a lot because he loves to be held and I have so much cleaning from Maggie AKA Hurricane Maggie!

This is a picture from our last day of pre-school! We had such a blast and Maggie got to take a lot of people with her to class (Daddy, Mommy, Nana, Nonna, and Papa). It's a parent volunteer class and we studied letters A-J.... Maggie can actually recognize some letters now (M, S, O, X, A, C, T, and a few more). She loves her computer game where she can press the letters as they show up on the screen. I ask her how to spell her name now and she says "Mggie" Pretty cute...
