Funny

Poor Roman and Lil' Sean! They have no idea what kind of older brother and sister they have!

Two funny things before I forget:

Papa was reading Maggie a book that I've read about 3x to her!

He kept making up the words instead of reading them. She corrected him a few times and finally said... "your not doing it right Papa! I'll just read it by myself".

Maggie in the car with Daddy listening to "Flogging Molly" "Black Eyed Peas" & "Pink"

M: "Dad, dad turn the music off! I need to talk to you"!
D: "Ok"
M: "Can we go to Superfranks"?
D: "Yep! Do you have any money to go?"
M: "No, I don't have any money but I have energy"!

Smiles & X-mas lights

Sean went all out this year with X-mas lights! I'll try and put a pic up! Maggie loves it but has trouble not touching everything! We pulled up to the house at night when the lights were on and she screamed cause she was so excited! "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha (Kendra laugh from Girls Next Door) Look what Daddy did.... He blew up Santa on the motorcycle"

My little "handsome boy" is smiling! He's been smiling for a while but Becky finally caught a picture of him! Whenever I'd get the camera he would turn serious again! He is now sleeping through the night (just like Maggie at 2 months old). He's still in our room cause he talks from about 4:30 - 5:30 a.m. but then falls back asleep till 7 a.m. He's still fussy during the day and needs to be held a lot which makes it hard when someone yells "Wipe my booty mom". I've been using the baby bjorn a lot because he loves to be held and I have so much cleaning from Maggie AKA Hurricane Maggie!

This is a picture from our last day of pre-school! We had such a blast and Maggie got to take a lot of people with her to class (Daddy, Mommy, Nana, Nonna, and Papa). It's a parent volunteer class and we studied letters A-J.... Maggie can actually recognize some letters now (M, S, O, X, A, C, T, and a few more). She loves her computer game where she can press the letters as they show up on the screen. I ask her how to spell her name now and she says "Mggie" Pretty cute...

6:30 a.m. & potty training

This is what my room looks like at 6:30 a.m. You can see that Maggie is still half asleep but her little alarm clock goes off at 6:27 and she's in my room talking & talking & talking!!!!! Little Sean has been sleeping better at night. He sleeps about 3-4 hours and then another 2-3 hours! I'm thankful for the little sleep I get. Sean and I just saw the movie "The Blind Side" last night and it was such a good movie! What a great true story. The little boy was named Sean Jr. and they called him S.J. I thought it was cute!

Here is little Sean smiling a little bit. He's been smiling for a couple weeks and cooing but I can't capture it on camera!

Maggie and I made Gingerbread cookies and it was so much fun. She ate most of the sprinkles and picked out a special cookie for George, Becky, Vincey and Daniel! She couldn't wait to hand them out!

I was impressed with her rolling skills! I think it's the pull-ups she's been doing in the garage with her dad.

Here is her bed-head when she wakes up in the morning! Hilarious! She also has trouble opening her eyes since she wakes up before it's light out.

Last Wednesday she woke up and said "I want to wear big girl undies". So... I let her and she's now officially potty trained! We've had about 4 accidents since last week (just pee). But, I guess it's true that when their ready, they're ready!!
She'll be exactly 2 1/2 next week!!!! And little Sean will be 2 months!

Funny moment

Maggie and Daddy were having a conversation. Here's how it went!

M: Who is Mommy married to? Daddy?
D: Yep!
M: Who is Uncle Abel married to? Auntie Colie?
D: Yep!
M: Who is Uncle Tony married to? Auntie Erika?
D: Yep!
M: Who is Uncle Josh married to?
D: Nobody!
M: Nobody? We have to buy a mommy for him for Christmas!

Halloween

Here are the Big Sister, little brother shirts that their both about to grow out of. Thought I should get one picture of them in it. Little Sean is proving to be a little fighter. He fights sleep, getting changed, going in his car seat, bouncer and swing. He crys a lot and we have to hold him quite a bit. I forgot how hard the newborn stage is. Thank goodness for lots of help.

Here is my little pea in a pod. He was only in the costume for a couple minutes. He was swimming in it... but looked so cute. He is one month old today and just started smiling (a little bit). I haven't got a picture because most of the time he's crying.

Halloween shirts from Nana! Maggie's newest saying is telling Bailey (the dog) to "Focus". That's what her dad tells her when she doesn't listen to him or follow directions which is about 95% of the time.

Here is Super Dad with the Baby Bjorn and helping Mags with the wagon going to the pumpkin patch. What a good guy! If I didn't have him, I would go insane!

Maggie's 50's girl costume playing golf at a little Harvest Party! She loved playing the game because she got lots of candy. Somehow I got her 3 strands of hair to stay in a ponytail for a little bit!

On Halloween, little Normie Pie rolled over twice at my parents house. He lifts his head up really well and then rolls himself over. We were all pretty impressed. I think his big head and ears helped him a little bit. (top heavy)

lots of poo!

We are going to miss Nana! She flew in from Arizona and helped us for a couple weeks. We had dinners, laundry was done and our house was spotless. Not anymore! After one day our house looks like a tornado hit it. Come back Nana!

I would love to know if any moms of newborns have every experienced this. My mom-in-law was changing his diaper and went to put the new one on when projectial poo came flying out all over the wall! Do you see me cleaning it? Do you see where baby Sean is? That's how far away he was when the poo came flying out. He is definitly fitting in with our family already

Introducing....

Sean Norman Poole Jr. born on
October 1st at 12:42 p.m.
8 lbs. 1 oz. 20 in. long
and came out peeing, pooping, and screaming!
These pictures are out of order but oh well...
Maggie was super excited to meet her brother. First family picture of the 4 of us!

This is the permanent smile that she had whenever she came and visited. Big Sean was sitting on the chair with little Sean and Maggie was on the bed with me. She slowly stuck her butt out until she was sitting next to her brother. She could care less about her new toy and cried when she had to leave. Every time I talked to her on the phone she asked if she could come and see her baby brother.

Here is the healthy baby boy who is doing great. He lost weight but we can now take him home today.

Here is the day I had little Normie poo and I'm pretty sure he was ready to come out!!!!!
